Thorpe End Village Hall exists for the benefit of the local population and is available for hire by individuals as well as Clubs and Associations. In doing so it offers facilities for hire comprising a large function room, linking with a quiet area, and a fully equipped kitchen.

The Hall is available for hire for morning, afternoon, evening or all day sessions for: Wedding Receptions, Anniversaries, Parties, Collectors Fairs, Craft Fairs, Sporting Events, Holiday Clubs and all other occasions. The hall’s capacity is as follows: Seated People only: 170, Dancing & Tables: 120 and Seated & Table: 100. If you are looking for a suitable venue for your event or club please give us a call.

The object of the Association is: “the provision of a hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Thorpe End without distinction of political, religious or other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents of Thorpe End.”

In other words the Village Hall is to be a great benefit to local people who want to get together for educational and social purposes. Over the years the Committee has been pleased to extend a welcome to persons and organisations from outside the Thorpe End boundary, for a great variety of events.
